We also acted as a spokesperson on WORT Radio-Madison and in the Isthmus newspaper for preview stories.

Business
Each client has different needs and strengths, we create a unique media plan focusing on goals and overall exposure.

From writing press releases, arranging television interviews and event coordination to handling crisis management situations, creating presentations, monitoring media coverage and writing media plans, we provide a list of extensive media plan options.

Alec HerringFor client insurance executive Alec Herring, we developed a unique media plan that focused on one of  his core strengths—financial analysts in an effort to increase his personal profile in the very crowded Madison media market.  By doing more than 10 selected news/ talk radio and television appearances, his visibility in the community was increased and became associated with his insightful insights.

"I have hired Scott to help me with two different projects and the results he has delivered in a short period of time have been very impressive. He knows how to get a client in front of the right power players and media, and package a message for maximum impact. Scott is extremely knowledgeable, well-connected and best of all, he delivers results!" —Alec Herring, August 1, 2009

The Arts
We take the arts and cultural institutions very seriously, their stories are important ones to tell.

Film WisconsinCase study:
We created an overall media strategy plan for Film Wisconsin, the non-profit film promotion organization to restore the successful Wisconsin Film Incentives back into the state budget.

The overall media strategy plan acted as a flexible blueprint that included:

  1. Arranged major daily newspaper editorial board meetings with key Wisconsin film industry representatives attending.
  2. Created a Game On! media day to showcase the growing Wisconsin entertainment software industry. The well attended event  featured a press conference, a motion capture studio demonstration and tour of the extensive Raven Software offices.
  3. Worked in a team effort to create a professional made Faces of Film DVD outreach to key lawmakers.

This effort generated numerous editorial endorsements and 14 media stories in print, television, radio and on the internet including major coverage in The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The successful media effort resulted in the Joint Finance Committee restoring a revised version of the Wisconsin Film Incentive program into the state budget.

Political
We have worked with numerous local, state and Congressional candidates on media relations. From preparing candidates for television and radio appearances, setting up press conferences and designing campaign material to acting as a spokesperson, working with reporters on stories, developing the internet look of the campaign and helping create television commercials.

Van MobleyA media relations case study was a recent political client success story for the Van Mobley campaign for Wisconsin Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Because of the short window for media exposure, we launched an aggressive media relations strategy. By arranging 25 print, 25 radio, 8 television and 5 Internet media interviews-63 total across Wisconsin in a one month period, we became one of the leaders in a very crowded primary.

Also, we worked to develop a greater Internet presence by adopting a more visually inviting and innovative design. The revised Van Mobley campaign website resulted in an increase in the length of visitor’s average time on the site and doubled the amount of website visitors per day.

A full list of political candidates is available upon request.
